Once there was a muscle man called Max. He was having breakfast with his dog.
Suddenly, there was a roar at the door. “I wonder who that can be? It can’t be my friend because he is sick. And it can’t be the postman because he came this morning.”
Max kicked down the door and there was a scary, big, sharp-backed dragon. The dragon said, “Excuse me, but I’m very hungry. Do you think I could have breakfast with you?” Max said, “Of course, come in.” So the dragon came into the kitchen and sat down at the table.
First, Max gave him some toast so the dragon burnt it and ate it all. But the dragon was still hungry. Next, Max gave him some cereal and the dragon roasted it, ate it and roasted everything in the kitchen, even the fridge, the kitchen, the couch, the toilet and ate them all. After that, the dragon drank all the spicy sauce, all the soy sauce, all the vinegar and all the olive oil.
Finally, the dragon was full and charred so he left. Muscle man said, ” Oh no! Everything is burnt. What will my dog and I have for dinner?” Just then, Max’s three thousand foster dogs came home and Max told them what had happened. So the dogs took him to the markets and had a lovely lunch with dumplings, sizzling beef and gozleme.
In the morning, Max and his dogs went shopping in the roast-proof store. They bought a dragon-proof kitchen and lots more food to eat. They also bought a massive box of dragon porridge just in case the dragon came to breakfast again. But he never did.
