General Pickling Brine

Ingredients

  • 3 cups water
  • 3 cups vinegar
  • 3 tbsp salt
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 3 tbsp peppercorns
  • 3 tbsp coriander seeds
  • 3 bay leaves
  • 3 cloves garlic

Instructions

  • Place pickling ingredients in a pot on a stove. Simmer for 5 - 6 min.
  • Wash peppers and place holes into whole peppers using the tip of a knife, OR slice the peppers. Fill jars with peppers (packed in).
  • When the brine is still warm, pour into the jars. Place into fridge.
  • After 1 - 2 weeks, pickles are good to eat.
